Emily Rux

Emily Rux earned her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a concentration in Public Archaeology from Bridgewater State University in 2016. Emily brings to IAC a strong foundation of cultural resource management and knowledge of the laws and policies surrounding public archaeology in the north eastern United States. In addition to these skills Emily also brings her experiences from two very different field schools, the University of Alaska where she was able to excavate a housepit and shell midden, and from Bridgewater State University where she assisted in the excavation of a ceremonial site. Emily has an interest in historic archaeology and is enjoying the varied experience she is receiving at IAC.
